LOINNIR 2013

At Magheraroarty beach in NW Donegal in July we presented another breathtaking and dramatic open-air exhibition of large-scale illuminated sculptures, which together with the sounds of local musicians, created a memorable magical night for all the family.

Taking inspiration from the spectacular landscapes, seascapes and unique environment of this corner of Ireland, the sculpture trail comprised work created by children in the Cosan Glas ‘Cois Farraige’ workshops, together with sculptures by predominantly local artists.

In September all the sculptures then went to Letterkenny Town Park for Culture Night.
