LOINNIR 1997

Guest artists Lynn Kirkham and Paul Finch from ‘Greenmantle’ were invited to join this years sculpture trail.

Lynn uses traditional basket making techniques while Paul has a furniture making background and together they create large scale environmental sculpture throughout Ireland.

Together with the core artist group, they created 45 sculptures over the two week period in which almost 50 local children took part.

The techniques learned from Paul and Lynn allowed particularly large and impressive sculptures to be created.
