LOINNIR 2010

The fortnight of children’s workshops preceding the Loinnir exhibition in 2010 included clay and illuminated sculptures of willow and paper.

The Loinnir show consisted of 22 large scale illuminated sculptures created by 14 participating artists and a variety of works from the children’s workshops, with live traditional music from Ireland and Northern Europe.

In September of 2010 the full spectrum of colour that had spread over Magheroarty’s beach in July was transported to Letterkenny Town Park for Culture Night 2010.

For one night only the park came alive with the magical array of imaginative forms created by An Cosan Glas artists.
