An Cosán Glas was instigated by Traolach O Fionnain, County Donegal Arts Officer, and artists Tim Johnson, and Deirdre Brennan. During the first week of the project Deirdre and Tim worked with a group of children from the Ballina estate, Falcarragh in the construction of several major works. The second week of the project brought together a variety of local people, including musicians, gardeners, designers, artists and a chef in the further development of the sculpture trail.
